The seahawks won last nite and are still mathmetically alive for the playoffs. The real news of the day is that Iran said no thankyou to the Obama administration on returning the spy drone. In fact, they reported locally how the Admin had begged them to return it. They are all having a big laugh at the U.S. over this. Our President doesn't appear to get it.

The employee from hell just won't leave. Why do grown ups act like teenagers? I think she must hate her life to constantly be trying to crap on everyone else. Well, I don't think I can grit my teeth much longer. I don't care how knowledgable she is or thinks she is. My patience are wearing quite thin. Let's hope it's over before one or both of us blow up.

Ok, so it's been a rebuilding year for the Beavs, I get it. This Saturday, however, is the biggy. They play the UW Huskies in Corvallis. To me, this is the most important game of the season every year. I work with Husky fans and if the Beavs only win one game a season it has to be this game! Others would argue the Civil War is more important, but I disagree. Anyway, good luck to the Beavs this week especially! Later.

The Beavs won this week and it didn't snow, so I'm in a pretty good mood. The forcast is for snow in a few days, but they were wrong lately, so who knows?
I found last week's Presidential debate quite entertaining. They finally started throwing down their gloves and attacking each other bare knuckled. Somebody needs to rise to the top and beat the worst President of my lifetime.

Yeah, I know I've been ignoring this site a little bit more than usual. I've been busy. I'm trying to squeeze the last nice days of riding in along with a pretty hectic work schedule. Now that fall is here I'll have more time to regularly update this page. Besides that, my house chores have also kept me pretty busy. Happy Labor Day! Or for millions of Americans, just another day without a job.
I heard President Obama give a speech in Michigan today. Kissing up to the unions at every chance. Proclaiming the union mantras I've heard for years including take less pay as long as everyone is even, don't work harder than your union bro, riding a bus to work is great as long as we all do, and of course... tea partiers can go to hell.
Cussing and name calling is all they have left. Now they call us sons of bitches. REEEEEAL NICE Liberals!

I can't tell you how tired I am of painting. Ever since I got back from vacation I've been painting in my new place. Not just painting, but fixing things like door knobs and toilets, shelving, etc... My new couch arrives next week, so I best hurry up.
I guess you could say my new place is a fixer upper, but I like it.
Tomorrow I'm taking a break from painting and getting a new tatt. Back to painting on Friday.

I completed the move on Saturday night. All that's left is unpacking boxes and putting things where I want them. That will have to wait. I have some interior painting I want to do first. This house is kinda a fixer upper.
But, even the painting has to wait until I'm back from vacation. Yes, I'm going riding into Canada in a few days for about a week. Can't wait for that. Between moving and mowing my new 1/4 acre yard, my body is freakin' sore. Later.

I've been freakin' busy. I started moving to my new place two nights ago. I make a couple loads each night after work. It's not the typical way people move but hey, I'm not typical! I should be moved by Sunday. I'm getting too old for this.

The National News channels are reporting bad economic numbers today and I ask why it took so long to finally admit it. I know they have to protect the anointed one, but come on. I've said all along that any small glimmers of hope are non sustaining. Gas is up, food and drugs are up, home values are down, unemployment is unchanged, the whole damn economy is down. Obama is a miserable failure as President, and no one can defend it differently.

The Anchorage Assembly once again defied common sense and passed an intrusive law that all liquor stores have to mandatorily check ID's. This does not include restaurants or on premise consumption. No, no, no, we can't have a blanket policy, we must have only a portion of ID's checked for our safety. The Assembly never ceases to amaze me of their retardation! Yeah, I said it! I can and will still use retard as a description of incapable people, I'm not politically correct so bite it!

I made an offer on a house a couple days ago, and it was accepted. So, it looks like I'll be moving in July barring any snags in the closing. It's kinda exciting to move from a condo and into a real house. I'm pretty jacked. Plus, I'll be a little further out from the downtown, out where it's more peaceful. Later

Well, you couldn't ask for nicer May weather for a visit to Alaska. Yesterday in Seward it was 57 degrees and sunny. So far this morning in Anchorage it's sunny and 40, but likely to flirt with 60 later on.
Today, we'll likely go get some breakfast, then a little later, go on a bike ride. That's as in bicycle, my bro doesn't ride motorcycles.

The Nenana tripod fell yesterday earning someone 300k+. Not me though, I played my daughter's bday which was over a week ago. Later today my brother flies into town. Had to travel for a few days, and now I'm back, getting to spend some time with my son before he reports to boot camp.
I also got an appointment to have the new Super Glide serviced as well as a new Screaming Eagle intake system installed. I already have the Vance and Hines slip ons, so the intake should really wake up the ole 96 inch. They will also remap the fuel to air mixture.
I'll let you know how it all comes out. Meanwhile, my son is buying the FJR from me. He is getting his endorement this week.

The good news is it hit 50 degrees today for a minute or two, the bad news is they are calling for 3-6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow.
Of course it won't stick around, but it will delay my first ride in 2011.
The annual motorcycle show is a week from Saturday, be there or be square.

The worst President of my lifetime was undoubtably Jimmy Cater. He was an embarrasment to the nation and I still recall the economy in the worst state of my life. Fast-forward to today. The economy is now at an all time low in my lifetime. Unemployment is at it’s worst, the price of gas is as high as ever, the dollar is de-valued, and we are a laughing stock in the global community. I truly believe that Barrack Hussein Obama is now the worst President of my lifetime!
I remember waiting in line for hours to get a tank of gas. Oh and only on odd or even days depending on your license plate. I remember the hostages who were kept for a solid year until Ronald Reagan was finally elected. He vowed to get them back, and apparently the goons believed him because they let them go.
Carter seems confused and disorientated in his late years as he has tried to be a diplomat in several world issues the past few years. Of course, like his Presidency, he has had absolutely zero positive results.
Perhaps Obama will continue his BS foriegn policies after he is done. And as an X-President, he will be accepted and embraced, let’s hope so. But, until then I can think of nothing else but electing ANYONE but him as President.

I have to make a short business trip, but upon my return midweek I may be taking my first ride of the year! I hope the side streets are clear by then. everyday this week, the forecast is for 40 degrees during the day. Currently, the main streets are clear, but my neighborhood still has a sheet of ice.

Well it's St Patty's Day again, and again we're getting blasted with snow. A good 4 inches since this morning and still coming. The good news is that the temp has warmed up into the 30's, which is much better than below zero.
I don't celebrate St Patty's day, don't really see the point. Not that I have anything against it mind you, but I'm not Irish. When will Congress give us Scots our own day? Sounds discriminatory to me. Hahahaha.

Well, it wasn't the first time I ever wrote something without checking my facts, and it's probably not the last. I was a week off on the start of the Iditarod race, it actually starts on March 6, 2011. Actually, the Iron Dog race just finished last night, and Fur Rondy kicked off yesterday here in Anchorage. So, that's my correction.

I'm cheering for all those protesters in the Arab countries who are fighting for reform, but that doesn't mean I trust Muslims. I respect their desire to be free, but they still hate Americans, don't be fooled.
The Iditarod begins this coming weekend, and the smart money is once again on Lance Mackey. That guy is a freak! The toughest race in the world, it's over 1000 miles behind a dog team, over some of the most unforgiving terrain in the country. The winner usually arrives in Nome in only nine days and that's including the mandatory rest stops along the way.
When I came to Alaska, I didn't really understand this race, but I have come to appreciate it and actually am a real fan.

We watched "The Mechanic" last night at the movie theater. It was patterned off the old Charles Bronson movie of the same name. We thought it was good and did the first movie justice. Jason Stathom is one of the best when it comes to action and violence, but his other acting skills still need some refinement. Overall, I'd rate the movie a 7.
