President Obama-Carter

March 22nd, 2011

The worst President of my lifetime was undoubtably Jimmy Cater. He was an embarrasment to the nation and I still recall the economy in the worst state of my life. Fast-forward to today. The economy is now at an all time low in my lifetime. Unemployment is at it’s worst, the price of gas is as high as ever, the dollar is de-valued, and we are a laughing stock in the global community. I truly believe that Barrack Hussein Obama is now the worst President of my lifetime!

I remember waiting in line for hours to get a tank of gas. Oh and only on odd or even days depending on your license plate. I remember the hostages who were kept for a solid year until Ronald Reagan was finally elected. He vowed to get them back, and apparently the goons believed him because they let them go.

Carter seems confused and disorientated in his late years as he has tried to be a diplomat in several world issues the past few years. Of course, like his Presidency, he has had absolutely zero positive results.

Perhaps Obama will continue his BS foriegn policies after he is done. And as an X-President, he will be accepted and embraced, let’s hope so. But, until then I can think of nothing else but electing ANYONE but him as President.

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Worst President of all-time!

Good Riddance Nancy Pelosi

January 5th, 2011

Nancy Pelosi has finally been replaced as Speaker of the House, and none too soon.

This woman know for her liberal ‘San Francisco’ views did plenty of damage while she was Speaker. Between her, Harry Reid, and President Obama, they almost destroyed our nation and our way of life. In the very least, they have forever polarized liberals from conservatives.

President Obama campaigned on how he was gonna change Washington. There was no change, there was just politics as usual. Remember the Dems locking the Reps from their closed door meetings? Remember Harry Reid buying votes within his own party in order to jam legislation down American’s throats? Remember Dem’s campaign promises that they really had no intention of ever honoring?

I guess poor Nancy will be giving up her personal (taxpayer funded) military jet for her weekly commute to and from the West Coast. Now how will her family get free transportation? Hahaha.

The funniest thing of all was Nancy Pelosi jumping up and down at every sentence that Obama uttered during his State of the Union speech. She reminded me of a psychotic jack in the box.

The damage these people did in two years may never be completely undone, but at least the American voters realized what a huge mistake they had made two years ago and corrected it.

It’s hard to write anything about this woman objectively, because I absolutely hate her and everything she believes in. Her ‘deer in the headlights’ expression that is always on her face makes me want to throw things at my tv. Remember her famous line about the healthcare bill? “We need to pass this bill to see what’s in it”. Oh oooh! I’m heating up. I better move on.

I realize that Nancy kept her seat in the House, and I’m truly not that surprised. Because, when you think about the the most effed up city in the nation, you’re thinking San Fran just like me (Remember the millions she sent there to ‘study’ an endangered mouse?). The voters there are overrun by fags, druggies, greenies, and illegals, to the point of being out numbered. The city officials are openly against our military and any recruitment efforts. It’s almost like they all moved to San Fran to get away from normal people. Hahaha. Well, if we ever have the big quake, it could cleanse us of Frisco.

Thank God she is no longer the Speaker, no longer in line to be President, no longer abusing her use of military aircraft and personnel, and no longer dictating the flow of business through the House of Reps. Mrs. Pelosi…….GOOD RIDDANCE!

Murkowski Too Liberal!

December 22nd, 2010

As we sit and wait for the Alaska State Supreme Court to rule on Joe Miller’s lawsuit, the Congress is in a lame duck session in Washington, DC. During this session the Dems are trying to push through some final bills on their agenda before the R’s take control of the House. They still have the numbers in the House, and some would say the Senate as well, so long as Lisa Murkowski keeps voting with them.

She and 6 or 7 other turncoat Republicans are actually aiding the Obama Administration’s liberal agenda. You see, Lisa now knows the power of the unions in Alaska and the Native Corps who both contributed tons of cash, and even votes, to assist her write in campaign. Those entities garnered her about a 100k votes in November to Miller’s 90k.

She got plenty of Dem’s votes in the general election, but I wonder how many conservatives would have written her in if the election was after some of theses latest votes in the Senate. She has always had a liberal slant to her thinking, but good ole Ted Stevens seemed to have kept her on the straight and narrow. Well, Ted is gone as well as her bridle. She is now free to vote as liberal as she likes. Especially now that she is not beholden to the Republican Party who backed Miller.

I’m disgusted that she continues to desert the R’s and vote with the D’s. I completely understand Miller’s continued fight in the courts. I mean hey, someone has to fix this mess, but, he really should go home before he alienates more of the conservative voters. I hope he decides to run against Mark Begich in 4 years.

I wish Lisa would remember one thing…sure she got 100k votes, but Miller got 90k. That’s 90,000 people who are unhappy with her performance in the Senate. I am one of those 90k, and I think she should not be so quick to dismiss us. I am not a tea partier but agree with much of their ideals.

One last point, although I have always liked Sarah Palin, I really hope she does not run for President and muck up the Republican Party plans. Much like our national debt, the Congress of our nation is out of control. This last election cleaned some out, but we need more.

Dems Aren’t Bad People, Just Really, Really Wrong

November 1st, 2010

I have several friends that are dyed in the wool Democrats. They are as passionate as I am in their beliefs. They voted for Obama and reason that McCain couldn’t have done any better.

Couldn’t have done any better? Let’s see, he probably would have bailed out the Banks, so that’s the same. He probably would not have bailed out the unions via the automakers, nor would he have locked all Republicans out of the private negotiations that were necessary to ram healthcare down the country’s throat. Neither would you have caught McCain bowing to Arab leaders or apologizing for the U.S.’s role in global politics. I am not a big fan of John McCain, but he is a war hero, and he isn’t associated with x-terrorists. I sincerely hope the GOP has a decent candidate for 2012.

The other thing I noticed about a few of my Dem friends is that frequently they are very ill informed. They get merely a morsel of the liberal press’ praise for Obama, and never read any deeper. In fact, they spend more time on the sports page and doing the crossword puzzle than any other section. Often, they never even open the business section. A few of them work for unions, but enjoy regularly bitching about the same union. They almost always vote, but I try to discourage them. Hahahaha.

One Dem friend of mine who is a smoker and I were chatting recently. I mentioned that there were a few assemblymen in Anchorage who were trying to increase the municipality’s tax on tobacco. That irritated him (he hadn’t read that news) and his response was a little distressing to me. He said why don’t they tax fast food joints? They have already taxed us smokers enough, move on to a different group. My response was to point out that Dems always want to tax someone (but not themselves), where as Republicans (true grassroots Rep’s) want less government and lower taxes.

Why tax fast food restaurants just because you think smokers pay enough already? QUIT TAXING AT ALL! He says “well, someone has to pay for services”. Finally, he said something I agree with. Cut government, at all levels, down to what they are really meant for….providing basic services. Cut the entitlements, cut the foreign aid, get rid of all retirement programs for the Senators and Rep’s, cut about 80% of all grants, etc… He stopped me and said I was going too far. Oh yeah, silly me, Dems want to continue taxing, as long as it’s someone else.

Folks, get out and vote this week, and let this government hear loud and clear that we’re fed up!

Cowboy Hater

October 19th, 2010

God, I hate those Dallas Cowboys! They aren’t much more than a bunch of over paid punks. The fact they are only 1-4 so far this season actually tickles me.
Two weeks in a row now they have been penalized for excessive celebration, yet they lost both games! What the hell are they celebrating? How about saving the celebration until the final whistle blows and you actually have more points than the other team?!?
Every year the so called experts say this is the year Dallas could go all the way! But it seems like a decade or more since they have actually won a playoff game. That suits me just fine. Here’s wishing good luck to McNabb and company!

What Would Obama Have Said?

September 12th, 2010

There’s lot’s of news coverage on this anniversary of 9/11, as we remember the vicious attacks by radical Islam (who are Muslims!). I just watched the speech from President Bush to the nation and can’t help but wonder what the words would have been if it was President Obama making that same speech?

Something like “my fellow Americans, today we had an unfortunate attack on civilians by a small sect of radicals from the east. Let’s all take a few moments and ask ourselves what could we have done to avert this misunderstanding? We should also send our apologies to the east for any comments or actions on our part that may have offended them and caused such a violent reaction. Today, I am sending a team of ambassadors to the east to further ease tensions and negotiate a truce between the Muslim community and the Western infidels of the U.S.”

Or some rot like that! I believe weak kneed Democrats are laughed at among other nations. I’m tired of image they portray of the United States of America!

Team Obama Trying to Downplay Economy

August 25th, 2010

Every other day, team Obama rants and raves about the great progress they have made with the economy. Yet, every other day the analyst’s reports contradict them directly. With unemployment through the roof, housing in the toilet, and the stock market bouncing like a ping pong ball, team Obama now are trying to boast about their foreign policy achievements. Frankly, unless you call record numbers of troop deaths the last 3 months an achievement, I don’t see any! But, they have to find a thread of success somewhere to draw attention away from their disastrous domestic policy before the elections. DON’T BE FOOLED!

Some of the Republican Leadership are calling for the resignation of Obama’s economic advisors, I concur. But, be careful what you ask for, the replacements could be even worse!

I was amazed at the flip flop of opinion on the mosque in NY by Obama. I mean, is anybody truly advising this man? If they are they must be idiots. Or perhaps he is not listening to his advisors, either way it’s been a complete embarrassment to the Whitehouse, and frankly to Americans. I mean, no matter your opinion, you want to see the President make a decision and stand by it. Obama’s been flip flopping worse than a fresh caught silver salmon on a hot boat deck.

Well, today in Alaska, voters have a chance to change some of the status quo. It’s only the primary, but it should offer a glimpse into the voter’s mind set going into November. And remember, Alaska’s unemployment has not been as bad as the nation’s, so we don’t have the droves of unemployed voters like California, Nevada, Michigan, etc.. Still, I hope Alaskans are as disgusted as I am about the worst President in the history of the U.S., and his step siblings Pelosi and Reed.

Everybody please vote!  Later.

Respect From Vice President is Appreciated.

August 18th, 2010

The late Senator Ted Stevens’ funeral is tomorrow, and Vice President Joe Biden is slated to make a speech. I’m happy to see this show of respect. The local news says that even though they are political opposites, apparently they had a mutual respect from serving together in the Senate.

I can tell you Senator Stevens was easy to respect, because he respected others. You know, the old “what goes around comes around”. I didn’t personally know him, yet I still admired him. He seemed to be a hard working, nose to the grindstone kinda guy. Very proud of Alaska and Alaskans, and very proud to serve on their behalf.

I am not a fan of the current Administration in DC. In fact, I am disgusted by it, and have often spouted it. I must say, however, that this trip out by Biden is a nice gesture that I think all of Alaska appreciates. in fact, it is more appropriate for Biden to come than the President. The President only spent 10 minutes in the Senate, so I doubt if he knew Stevens, plus we wouldn’t want to interrupt his latest vacation.

I just thought I should mention this nice act by this Administration and offer my thanks on behalf of all Alaskans. Lord knows I rarely have anything good to say about them.

Obama Dazed and Confused!

June 28th, 2010

When his own misguided policies and naive strategies fail, President Obama continues to fall back on President Bush’s plans (or a hybrid of) to change course. Even though, 18 months into his Presidency, he also still blames the former President for his own problems and failures.

The recent appointment of General Petraeus to replace General McCrystal is a prime example (story). One of Obama’s huge finacial supporters, Moveon.org called Petraues “Betray Us” back in ’07 when Bush was in office (story). They even went so far as to accuse him of treason. Now that ‘miracle man’ Obama has appointed him, the left now applauds it as ‘genius’. The radical left idealists make me sick to my stomach, almost as sick as radical Muslims make me. How can the General go from treason in ’07 to savior in ’10? Only because the idiot far left can see nothing Obama does as wrong.

It appears to me that Obama is confused about how to move forward. He promised when elected the troops would be coming home in 18 months. That would mean THIS month. Now they say July of ’11, and that our presence could last for decades. That is exactly what McCain was saying during his campaign. In fact, the addition of 30,000 more troops is about as far apart from Obama’s pre-election mantra as he could get. When he doesn’t know what to do, or, when he gets details he never had before, he reverts back to Bush policy!

I tire of this Administration’s continued blaming of their problems on previous presidents (mainly Bush). It’s time for leadership, but instead we get the ‘deer in the headlights’ look from Obama and his czars.

Adding to the fray was the recent news from the G-8 summit that the other countries want to employ spending cuts, while Obama says “spend, spend, spend!” What an about face, the U.S. saying spend, and the European Nations saying cut back! Can you hear President Reagan turning in his grave?

I am about as conservative as anyone I know, but I don’t consider myself radical. I actually think it’s time to either amp up our troops to find and KILL the Taliban, or get the hell out of there and let the people take responsibility for their own problems. I’m sick of helping people who hate us. Eff them, lets focus on OUR domestic problems. Which is probably one reason Obama leaves them over there. We already have 10% unemployment in this country, with no negligible improvement in sight. Obama must feel as long as they are over there it is keeping people employed here at home. Dazed and confused, dazed and confused, dazed and confused!

The media is still on his side, but I’m beginning to see chinks in his armor. The mainstream media gives him a pass on almost everything with the exception of the oil leak. They are taking him to task on that one. It seems in liberal media, the only thing that trumps Obama being golden is the largest ecological disaster in our country’s history. Imagine that!

Respect Must Be Earned, Even for a President

June 24th, 2010

The resignation of General McChrystal this week is merely a symptom of a greater problem that this administration suffers. On the surface,it appears to be an act of poor judgement on the General’s part. But, look deeper, I say that the inexperience and perceived detachment of President Obama has resulted in a lack of respect by the nation’s armed forces, certainly the upper brass. His policies are weak, as he strives to conduct what he knows must be done while seemingly trying to satisfy his left wing base. And he has assembled an unimpressive cast of civilian idiots to facilitate his ‘vision’.

In my opinion, he has failed or is failing on almost every national issue he faces. The war is stagnating, unemployment numbers are stagnant, the oil is still gushing into the ocean, the border is in chaos, his high level appointees are in continuous spin mode, and the deficit is snowballing. Voters across the nation will likely voice their disapproval with their ballots this fall.

Certainly, the title of President commands it’s own respect merely by it’s title. But, the man must follow through and command some of his own through leadership and foresight. This President has been high on talk and low on action. His ‘pie in the sky’ visions are unachievable and unrealistic. His time off and away from the fracas is unpreceidented. His reaction and response to crisis seems to be media driven. In a nutshell, he is the second worst President of my lifetime (to Jimmy Carter).

It reminds us all… be careful how you cast your vote because you might get it! If the Republicans have a stitch of brains, they should be posturing the proper candidate this very minute. Although, Republicans have not impressed me of late either.
